Prime Stage Theater's Teen Dating Awareness program is a multi-faceted platform that uses theater, a personal testimony, and discussions forums to raise awareness, encourages, and provides the resources for audiences to make a difference in their lives.
The program offers teens, parents and educators the opportunity to learn the warning signs, where to turn for help, and how to find positive role models with healthy, happy relationships.

Saint Vincent College,Prime Stage Theater~"YOU BELONG TO ME", will be performed, which will bring to life just how unsuspecting an unhealthy relationship develops..

ATTENTION PARENTS AND CHILDREN
Gateway High School, Monroeville Pa., presents this most educational play scripted for Jr. High, High School and College students . 1 in 3 girls will experience some form Dating Violence. Demi's mother Jodi will tell the tragic story of her daughter Demi and the warning signs of an abusive boyfriend/girlfriend. The red flags are the same regardless of your age.

Brashear High School public school in the Beechview neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, will be visited by Prime Stage Theater and Dating Beyond Contol. Beginning at 2 p.m.~ "You Belong To Me" will be presented in two assemblies to the entire student body and faculty. Demi's mother will precede the production, sharing her daughter Demi's story.

Dating Beyond Control: Interactive Education on Dating Violence is a program that raises awareness of the warning signs and dangers of abusive relationships.
The program consists of a presentation by Jodi Miceli (Cuccia), who developed the program after her daughter Demi lost her life to an abusive boyfriend in 2007, and a one-act play about dating violence, written and performed by Baldwin Wallace students.
All proceeds raised from this event will be donated to The Demi Brae Cuccia Memorial Fund. - Baldwin Wallace Conservatory, - Fynette Music Hall. Reception to follow.

Center for victims , which will bring their expert knowledge to inform the students what to do in the mist of an unhealthy relationship and the importance of their support.

Kiski Prep ~ A private all male boarding school founded in 1888, will be educating their student body on Teen Dating Violence.
The presenters are Jodi Miceli (Cuccia), Demi's mother
and Chris McAneny: 3E Now Pittsburgh.
He taught prevention programs in middle and high schools in and around Pittsburgh. He worked directly with students to increase awareness and help prevent dating and domestic violence. He saw and heard first hand from students about how common dating violence is across all income levels and how devastating it can be in young lives.
The 3E Now program was born with the realization that only about 10% of all the students in Allegheny County are currently receiving any formal information or guidance training on dating violence. Yet the teen years, before marriage and children, are the very time when this information can do the most good.

WOODLAND HILLS JR. HIGH SCHOOL will have the opportunity to have Demi's message shared by her mother Jodi/Dating Beyond Control. The students will further learn how help is available through a presentation from the Center For Victims.

Teen Dating Violence: The Murder of Demi Cuccia March 21, 2011
WQED's Michael Bartley investigates what led to the brutal murder of 16-year-old Demi Cuccia, a popular Gateway High School cheerleader. Cuccia was stabbed 16 times by "a jealous and obsessive boyfriend," who is now spending life without parole at a federal penitentiary. Cuccia's parents talk openly about their mission to inform and educate teenagers and parents about the warning signs of teen dating violence. This program offers resources and help for anyone facing the threat of dating violence.
